Once a week I add some neem oil to my shampoo. It has greatly improved the texture and look of my hair. At least once a week I get a comment from a colleague asking me what I'm doing because my hair looks amazing. The only problem with neem oil is that it has an incredibly strong odor. So when you start using it, DO NOT use it with your shampoo in the morning before work unless you want to push all your co-workers away. On the plus side, neem oil is pet safe (it's commonly used on horse manes and tails) and it repels bugs, so you can add some oil to your pet's shampoo to repel fleas, ticks, and fly bites.
