Review on 🔌 MasTrack - OBD 2 Y-Cable Extension Splitter (9 Pin) by Mike Weaver

I bought this 9 pin Y-harness for my 18 wheeler drivetrain. I used it to connect my federally mandated ELD device that didn't come with a 9-pin cable/connector/adapter. The price was great and installation was relatively easy. This Y-cable allowed me to connect an ELD device and leave the 9-pin connector open for future mechanical diagnostics. The only thing that was difficult about this Y-cable was that it was too narrow and I couldn't initially connect my ELD device to it. This was a simple fix, taking a plastic headed pin (the kind you use to hang posters on drywall) and widening the pin holes on the inside of the Y-cable adapter before attaching the ELD device. After this process, the fit was still tight, but I was able to connect my ELD device to the Y-cable adapter.
