I liked the board. It seemed great. It took just over 2 hours to complete the build, not counting the time it took to dismantle the old board. I thought I did my best to make sure I have a board that can handle the Ryzen 5950. Long story short since I didn't have an option to flash the BIOS I had to return the board. If for some reason your board is stuck on the orange DRAM indicator, no you haven't broken anything, you just need to flash the BIOS. Since the TUF line has a bios flash option for a little more money, and other boards out there also have some stick bios flash options, I'd recommend buying those instead. It's a shame as I feel the marketing is leaning pretty heavily on its compatibility but unless you're a hobbyist or professional PC builder you most likely don't have an older processor to flash. Even if you've done this, you still have to install the old processor, flash it, remove it, and finally install the latest processor. Much trouble. There aren't any repair centers in my area that can flash the BIOS, so there might be a professional way that tech shops can do. Again, there's more hassle when for around $20 you can get the same TUF board but with a flash bio option. Save yourself the frustration because if you're a PC builder who can reasonably upgrade this board to run a modern CPU, you probably won't need my review.
