KOKNIT Needle Set 13.5", 36 pc. Solid smooth bamboo jumper with a pointed end, comes in a nice zip case with needle pockets on both sides and a clear plastic pouch inside the middle for storing small items There is also a small pocket on the outside where you can stash paper or a small flat object There are no individual slots for pairs of needles so I would keep each pair in my plastic bag until they are ready to go There are a large selection of your basic concepts in plastic, mainly - stitch markers, safety pins - 2 sizes, bias needles - 3 sizes, tapestry needles - 2 sizes, row counter - 2 sizes, a tape measure, scissors, a stitch holder and a needle size gauge, they all work perfectly Needles are made of bamboo and are almost 14 inches long than your regular ones rwise would find. Good for projects that you really need but I don't want to use Circular nee for. Sizes are engraved on each pin and it looks like they won't rub off quickly. For some reason the needles are all slightly warped, even large sizes. I don't think it will affect your knitting but it is a bit odd and will make the smallest needles feel flimsy. You will also need to grind the tips of some needles. Some of them were a bit rough, and one of the smallest sizes had a tiny tear along the fiber that could snag the yarn. These are not the highest quality needles and threads, but there is a lot of work involved and the needles have an added benefit. Length. This is a good travel set if you don't want to take your good needles with you.
