Works as I hoped it would.

This works beautifully and does a good job chopping up food without puréeing it to mush. I needed it to chop food for an elder with no teeth who will not eat unrecognizable mush. This works perfectly to chop the food but leave it in recognizable bits. We have also used it to chop mushrooms for a recipe and it did not purée them but made them fairly uniform bits. I’m really glad I purchased this.

Requires more effort than a knife for chopping small ingredients
