I use it as a permanent cash donation box. Obviously, this attracts potential evil doers.It's placed on a table, so I bolt the box to it tightly. Alas, there is only one hole in the bottom of the box.I needed to drill three more myself. And for steel you need special bits. the box should come with 4 pre-drilled holes. I bet that most customers will not hang this box to a wall!In addition, the locking mechanism is pretty weak. Even though it's not really possible to deter a determined thief, an upgraded version should be developed, with a sturdy locking system, and perhaps slightly thicker steel.Also, if used as a cash donation box, the slit with the large hole in the middle is too big. There should be an option to have a tight slit where only coins and bills fit through.Overall I'm happy with the product. I couldn't find anything better for my needs.
