Review on 🪑 Rafferty Vintage-Inspired Dark Brown Chairside End Table by Signature Design by Ashley by Dawn Rodrigues

I love this Rafferty collection from Ashley Furniture! Before that, 8 years ago, I bought a sofa, a love seat and a coffee table from the Rafferty collection. Now it's time to expand my living room but the Ashley stores no longer have this collection so I was happy to find some items at Revain! This table has been boxed to avoid scratches and is very easy to assemble with all the parts included. This table has a really neat feature: you can pull out a small shelf that gives you extra space to work and/or place items while you converse. (That's why you can see a small handle at the top, but it doesn't look big enough for a drawer.) The iron is well made and the rivet at the top shows the iron off perfectly. The only caveat. I have - it is easy to scratch or scrape. It would be unwise to use it with active kids or for an active desktop. For example, I pulled out a shelf (of the same material and finish as the countertop) to place an essential oil diffuser on it. Apparently, when filling the diffuser, a drop of essential oil splattered onto the surface, which I noticed about 5 minutes later. I wiped it off with a dry paper towel but left a shiny oily residue. I then tried a damp paper towel, which made no difference. And finally, I tried wiping it down with Murphy's oil soap, which still made no difference. So a few months later I had a shiny oil stain that took the natural finish off the table.
