Ecru, not ivory, is the standard for cards

I have been looking for a very heavy weight ivory paper for the past 3 years. Haven't found it yet and settled on a pale sunny yellow called Ivory. This is NOT the color of the manila envelope as someone said. The Manila envelope is much darker, brownish-yellow in color and more similar in color to kraft (brown paper bag). It more closely resembles the color of the ecru tabbed binders most commonly used in every office across the country. I've found it almost impossible to find a real ivory card because as the paper is made thicker it becomes less transparent. and will therefore be darker. The heavier the paper, the darker its color. This is an ecru color that is way better than most papers I've found and much better quality. I use this for product packaging labels as well as brochures and postcards. Unlike most cards with this mark, it's really thick card stock, and it's just very thick paper. This is a really thick index card. For those who left reviews saying it's too light, they must look for extra heavy card stock (more like poster board) and really should look for 130# or higher, not 110#. I am very happy with this paper. This is the best quality, color and value I have found if you remember ANY ivory deck is not real ivory. If color is so important that you want to reconsider your decision and use lighter paper, you might get better color results with 40# weight, but it's only slightly heavier than regular printer paper (which is typically around 20-30). #). Yes, and solve the delivery problem. It bothered me a bit, but I think Revane paid attention to the complaints. My item was shipped in a sufficiently large box with appropriate padding. It was still sealed and received in excellent condition. Hopefully you get yours original but if not let Revain know and they will replace it for you free of charge. I just wouldn't wait 2-3 days for you to need it just in case.

Pros
  • Ideal for brochures, covers, registers, folders and business forms

Great paper for laser printers, but lackluster on inkjet photo printers
