High quality replacement part. When my 23 year old Kirby got stuck and quit, I thought I was done with it. That cheap little part fixed it and now it works like new. There were no instructions but a short YouTube video told us everything we needed to know. Removal and installation was a bit fiddly, but not difficult. If you don't already have a good silicone sealant, order one as reassembly will require replacing a seal that broke during disassembly.
