These handkerchiefs are terrible in every way. Not only do they stink so badly that my head starts to ache, but they leave a sticky residue on my poor babies' pussy and on our hands. Not to mention minor complaints about towels sticking together and tearing easily. I also find the label almost ridiculous - 90% natural? Let me pause, bamboo placemats make up at least 90% of the product's total weight, so it's not just "natural" that matters. I kick myself in the butt for buying a case before trying them. Update: Since Boom Boosa decided to comment on the naturalness of their product, I wanted to share how toxic they really are. Here is a list of the ingredients of most concern in this product. Tocopheryl acetate is a known human skin toxicant, thought to be an environmental toxicant, and studies have shown tumorigenicity at high doses. [.]Polysorbate 20 itself is inert but carries a high risk of ethylene oxide and heavy metal contamination. [.] Potassium sorbate is also a known skin toxin, and some studies have implicated it as a skin carcinogen. [.] Sodium benzoate - has been a subject of controversy lately as some studies have shown it to be linked to ADD, it has also caused mitochondrial DNA damage in yeast and there is concern that it has similar human DNA could cause damage. Others worry that it can cause cancer in cumulative amounts. Since purchasing this wrap I've finally broken down and started making my own wipes - I avoided them during my daughter's diaper time as it seemed like too much work. How I wish I had tried that sooner. They are amazing. I pour enough solution onto the paper stack to wet the entire stack. I wash with cloth diapers or you can wash alone in the washing machine. Dry. Fold. Heap. And hydrated again. Very easy. One wipe removes even the toughest feces in just a few strokes. My mascara boys are happy, soft and smooth. And best of all, none of the harsh chemicals from these wipes (or any) touch my sweet baby's skin. I appreciate Bum Boosa's attempt to make less toxic wipes, but to be honest they missed the mark and it just looks like greenwash in my book.
