I have to say every motorhome should have this. We were at the park one day with our last RV (30 amp), went out for a while and when we came back to find the inverter was smoked out (and only a few months old) and the microwave and TV weren't working . . After investigating the reason for this, we discovered that our motorhome was powered by 240v - there was a short in the parking box - and the wiring at its end was frayed. Well they paid us the "replacement cost" to replace these 3 things and it was great! We now have a new RV (50 amp) so we wouldn't use shore power without one of these. I love this wired version that is installed in the RV unlike the portable versions that are installed outside there is no chance of this version being stolen or you forget to use it. I think all new motorhomes should come with one pre-installed from the factory. But for now we have options. It took several hours to install, all you needed was a connection cable and a space on the side to install it. Works perfectly! The ordering and delivery process was quick and easy. Many Thanks
