Longevity is Questionable due to Design Flaws

I have plenty of kitchenware and appliances from Ninja and I’m usually very happy and satisfied with their workmanship and excellent customer service, but I’m really surprised by the corners the company cut when it comes to this pot. There are two main reasons I’m docking a star on an otherwise great 5-star product that had great space-saving practical kitchen potential.1) The included spoon/ladle is put together in two pieces with the connection joint by the scoop and not up towards the handle. With the hot temperatures this thing will endure I’m doubtful that it will last very long. And 2) the biggest issue is that the metal lid handle does not sit flush with glass lid. See pictures. As a result, the metal tip is pressing up against the glass and when you heat up the pot you hear occassional cracking and creaking which I assume is from the metal and glass slowly expanding at different speeds from the heat. I’m concerned that this friction will eventually cause the glass lid to shatter while cooking which is a big safety concern. Not sure if Ninja rushed this to market without proper quality control but I’m disappointed about that aspect.Overall though, until the lid shatters and/or the ladle falls apart, I do like the versatility of this pot with so many all-in-one functions. Ninja as a company usually stands by their products if you call customer service so I'd still recommend this pot since the positives outweigh the negatives (at least for now), but w

Pros
  • STOVE TOP-TO-OVEN: Easily go from stove top to oven to table as it works on all cooktops and is oven safe up to 500°F so you can even bake like cast iron.
Cons
  • The high heat required for some cooking may damage the pot's non-stick coating
