Really pleased for my opinion

I was really pleased with these shoes for me. For bonafides, I've been wearing them for about a year and am coming to buy a replacement as the inner liner is worn through. If I really wanted to wear them into the ground, I could probably do another six months to a year, though.I first realized natural toe/barefoot shoes are life changing for me and do a ton to fix my back and shin pain wearing some of the vibram five finger shoes. I loved them in some ways, but also, the experience of stepping in a puddle or on gum can be really gross, and my feet at least create a layer of grey dead skin in the shoe that I have to scrape out frequently to try to avoid stinky shoes. These shoes were a great compromise as everyday street shoes that I can wear socks with, with me keeping my vibram's for the house and buying proper wide toe box hiking boots for trails.I do disagree with the listing describing these as trail running shoes, though. I think they're great city walk/do errands/live life shoes but I feel like they're missing a level of ruggedness needed on the outside for off pavement trails and missing sturdiness on the inside needed to last through frequent long running. If these got less than six months of trail running life, I wouldn't be surprised, and for that use you'd probably prefer a more expensive, more durable shoe.
