Bought this product to replace an adult cat. Upon assembling it I could tell it was of good quality and built in a way that it wouldn't tip over easily. Ideal for a cat that jumps with a running start or jumps from the highest point. However, after purchasing this product I found it to be a bit compact for adult cats. I have an 8lb adult cat and he won't try to climb up because he doesn't have enough room to jump. from 1st cache to 2nd. The rest pillow above the 1st drawer extends to the edge of the tree and the pillow provides only 3 inches of clearance above the 2nd drawer. My cat has to jump out to get up, relying entirely on its claws to do so. But as he tries, he encounters another support beam in his path. After trying to jump, he immediately decides that there isn't enough space and he has to dodge to fully jump off the tree. If I put it all the way up, it would rather bounce from the highest point to the ground than even try to climb down the product.
