Tim Holtz does it again!

I'm already a big fan of Tim Holtz and his art supplies (stencils, rubber stamps, ink pads). I've wanted a punch like this for a long time, but other brands/models on the market were too expensive for me. Tim's version cost about half the price of other similar stamping platforms. I also watched a lot of demo videos on YouTube before buying it - it looked easy to use and well made so I ordered it. I am so happy with my purchase! The first thing that will strike you is that this is a quality product, solidly built from quality materials. It's heavy enough to provide a stable base for stamping, yet light enough to be carried around. What I love about Tim is that he thinks of everything when designing products - he's a crafter so he knows what's important to other crafters. This tool can be used with both soft red rubber stamps and clear glue stamps by simply flipping off the top cover. There is a handy ruler at the top and left for precise card alignment, as well as grid lines along the lid. The genius is that the right and bottom sides are open so you can easily load paper larger than the actual stamp platform base making this tool very versatile. Finally, the die platform comes very well packaged in a padded box with a sliding lid, ideal for keeping the tool safe between uses. I opted for a coordinating soft neoprene carry and storage case - another good investment! Well, Tim Holtz is doing it again!
