Simply put, I'm impressed that it's not that easy to make. These knives are the sharpest I've ever used, even sharper than some of the high end major manufacturer knife blades I've used before. The handle knife's seamless blade design means I don't have to deal with the possibility of the handle breaking or objects (especially liquids!) getting stuck in the handle. Considering I've only had the knives for a month and a half I can't speak to durability, but I can confirm that proper care will keep them from rusting for at least that long, so I'm guessing they aren't particularly prone to rusting , as is the case with cheaper knives. Not much to say other than be careful with the working end of these blades as I believe it will slice you at random just as easily as potatoes and carrots (which is almost effortless).
