I bought this bag to prepare for a big plane-based move, hoping to use it to check some of the bulkier items that didn't make it into the moving van. After loading it up, though, I started to get concerned that my airline might not accept it--it was a REALLY large bag. Sure enough, after a little digging through the airline website I saw that it wouldn't (without a $200 fee) accept any bags whose total height, length, and width exceeded 62 inches. This bag, at 46x20x20, is a whopping 2 feet too big! Unwilling to pay the exorbitant fee, I unloaded this bag and found another solution. The quality and durability seemed nice, but I don't think I'll ever have occasion to find out. If I can't take it on a plane (and it's way too big for the average car), then I ultimately have no use for it. Huge (really huge!) bummer.
