These earrings are so unique! I ordered them because they looked "different". They look like the earring isn't connected, it's just kind of "floating" in front of it. They fit perfectly and although I know it's not a good idea, I usually wear earrings to bed. Sometimes it doesn't work out so well as sometimes the posts loosen, get lost, and here I am again with ONE earring. But they held FAST. There is no button on the back to "hook or fasten", it's all part of the earring. They are also the perfect size. Matte gold, they look great. I will be looking for more of these earrings, I hope the manufacturer will make others. All in all a GREAT item!
