Okay, maybe not a whisper, but compared to my previous keyboard, this one is a lot quieter. I recently bought an iMac and of course it didn't come with a keyboard or mouse. And since it was going to be my first Mac, I was shocked to learn that Apple branded keyboards and mice cost over $100! I found it good that this set was not only significantly cheaper, but also available in pink. Some adjustment was needed to get used to the slightly smaller keyboard, but other than that it was fantastic. Battery life has been excellent so far. Some people complain that the mouse takes too long to "wake up", but I didn't notice it too much. All round a good little keyboard and mouse.
