Bought 2 sets to use between Yamaha CX-A5200 and Yamaha MX-A5200. Honestly I can't tell if the sound has improved as I don't have enough unbalanced RCA's to hook up to compare. Although it's not really my concern. I prefer clip-on XLR connections, and as an added bonus, the different colors make it easy for me to tell which cable is which. I ended up with an extra cable as there are only 11 channels between the two components so I now have a spare cable in case a cable suddenly fails for any reason. I don't anticipate this, however, and given the price of these cables I'd probably just buy a new set given my OCD and the way I color them now if that were the case. As previously mentioned, for the price these XLR cables are hard to beat with any other brand of cable and you could easily spend a ton more if you might hear a difference if your ears were made in a lab and in some odd biological way like that attached to her head would scientific experiment. . Who wants to go through all that when you can just buy these cables and be more than happy with the sound of your rig.
