I bought two of these. One black for me. An orange for my father. You can regularly find this model for less than $20. Even at $35 it's worth it! I do everything by hand when I can and can't pay to have someone read the fault code. Honestly, as much as the cars cost, they should be included in your purchase. I read codes and help the neighbors a lot with their cars. E-vap system codes and coolant system codes are the most I wanted to diagnose and troubleshoot with this thing. These are easy do-it-yourself solutions that would cost at least $200 at a professional store. Scanners are worth the money. And this one, while simple, worked every time I used it.
