Update: One Star - I have ordered this product 3 times and each time the quality has been worse. The second took less time than the first, and the third only lasted maybe 8 weeks. I tried it for the first time in the washing machine on a delicate cycle with a couple of towels and the plastic layer completely peeled off the fabric. This has not happened with any of the previous ones I have purchased from this company. Also, each one I received had a thinner layer of fabric than the previous one. Apparently, now the company is trying to save money on production in order to maximize profit - the quality has simply dropped. I no longer recommend this product no matter how good the larger size is. There are other options that cost less, and you get more than one in the package. look elsewhere Original rating: 4 stars is my second order for this item. The first lasted about 6 or 8 months before the inside started to smell and mold. I washed it a couple of times but the odor and mold were persistent so I threw it away and bought another. I love this shower cap because unlike many others I've had, the regular size fully covers my hair in a bun, the elastic holds up well, and it's a thick, plastic-coated material that keeps my hair dry. For some reason most shower caps are undersized, so the fact that this one is too big convinced me to buy it again. I think half a year is a good amount of time to use such a product, so for me it's worth the price as it lasts longer than plastic.
