This is a good product and works as intended. After 5 months of use, we found that the blue LED night light was too bright during the day and uncomfortably bright at night. This can of course be avoided by simply turning off the lights, but we need some light at night. Promotional photos showing a faint blue glow appear to have been taken during the day, with the room lights off and the curtains open. In my experience, even at this light level, the blue LED is dazzling, especially when it bounces off the water surface and hits your eyes. I replaced the blue LED in our chair with a red LED connected to a 680 ohm resistor. This change greatly improved the use of the seat at night. The red LED helps maintain night vision and the resistance makes it dim enough for comfortable 2am lighting. The LED is a standard 5mm diameter cylinder connected to the motherboard with a thin wire. Of course, I'm sure that this modification will void the manufacturer's warranty.
