This item [B07SV4KYWC] is clearly an inferior version of what it is trying to emulate.my opinion sku B00275Y72I is an example of the "name brand" productand Dollar General "clear tape" 1000 x 3/4, $1 per roll an example of a QUALITY value-priced competitor to name brand.I bought this product because my tasks require this type of tape.this item is eight rolls delivered for about $8 which seemed very fair.I was wrong.This item is not 3/4" bur rather a tad over 1mm smaller than 3/4"[my guess is that over the course of a dozen rolls the MFG gets a "free" roll to pass off as 3/4"]While it is a shame that the width is slightly narrow specs if that was the only observed flaw then I would over-look it.howeverin my opinion glue strength is about 40% weaker than that of DG or name-brandadditionally, the "stretch" one can impart to the tape is also less than that of DG or name-brandand the force needed to break the tape also less than that of DG or name-brandthe one area this item compares similar/same is clarity and gloss.you pile the above suite of "fall-short" metrics together and you have a very lackluster product.so lackluster I didn't feel it would meet my needs.Yes its tape. yes it will work for most things. yes it is clear.BUT overall it is so clearly inferior to what you would have gotten for the same price at DG that one feels cheated.I return very little of what I buy - maybe 1 item every few years.This product was so bad I both returned it and on the way home stopped at DG and the bought 8 rolls I needed.
