I recently put my trusty iPhone 6s to rest and as I'm really addicted to fingerprint recognition and not face recognition I went for the iPhone 8 decided I was happy with all of this, until I got in the car and tried to hook it up to the stereo so I could listen to my music instead of the radio. That's when I realized that the headphone jack was no longer needed. And since my car is 12 years old, bluetooth is not an option. So I decided to either find a lightning/aux cable or an adapter. I've found MANY options, some much cheaper than this, but while these items claim to be MFI certified, a quick search of the Apple certifications list didn't help. does not support this claim. However, Apple has confirmed the Chargeworkx certification, as have several other brands such as Belkin. However, this Chargeworx adapter was the cheapest option, so I used it. As long as it's perfect. It's just a tiny little thing that plugs into the end of my aux cord so I can plug it into my phone. My drive home only takes about 20-25 minutes in heavy traffic, so it's rarely necessary to charge the phone at the same time (which this little adapter can't support). The sound quality is the same as my old phone without the adapter, so there are no problems. Conclusion: This company is telling the truth that this adapter is MFI certified, that it's a fair price and works exactly as it's supposed to, so it's a good buy.
