I bought this because my room is always hot and I was worried that the face piece that came with the pointer would get rough when I sweat a little. Many pointer cases didn't seem very promising and I tried a silicone case for another headset that I didn't really like so this seemed like the best option. I chose this brand because I tried other VR accessories that I liked. It replaces the entire face pad (attaches to the headset like a standard pad) and features Velcro to attach one of two sizes of face pad. A small detail, but I appreciate that the softer side of the velcro is the side that can come in contact with the lenses if you decide to change or remove them while wearing the headset. I do notice that a bit more light gets into the headset when using this interface, but I also use the larger of the two faces and have a similar issue with the headset out of the box, so this isn't too much of an issue for me. The faux leather isn't as comfortable as the standard front, but is easier to wipe down/clean and seems to hold the headset in place better when I'm moving. The magnets that hold everything to the headset appear to be on par with those that come in the box. I've seen similar products with reviews stating that many replacement parts have weak magnets that cause the face masks to fall off and I haven't seen it. This product has this problem, however the plastic seems to be cheaper.Tldr; The product is pretty good especially if you are concerned about hygiene/wear and tear although it is a bit pricey.
