I recently bought a cable manager to protect my home from puppies. I wanted something that looked a little better than just a plastic bowl. It's quite a nice box and the wood grain print on the lid really looks better than expected. The box itself is quite large, with enough room for a full-size surge protector with large plugs sticking out of it and even a cord wrap inside. I pulled all the cords in and out and wrapped the power cord in protective plastic sleeves (to protect against sharp little puppy teeth) and there was enough room to run them straight into the box. The reason I deducted a star is that the top of the box is not flat as shown in the photos but rather is deformed. There are thin reinforcing veins under the lid so I don't think it's a defect, I just think it's (inexplicably) the way it's made. Because of this it doesn't look nice or polished like I think it should. The plastic itself is also quite flimsy, so I doubt its durability if something bangs against it. Only time will tell. I was just expecting something more substantial for $25, you know? Overall it should do the job and it still looks better than most in this price range.
