I don't know about you, but I find that most children's toys are set at a ridiculously loud volume. I mean, the kid is literally a foot away from the toy (or less) when playing with it, right? It should not be so loud for the child's hearing and the parents' mental health. So I'm always on the lookout for toys that advertise a volume control like this one. It's on Revain in the product description and printed right on the outside of the toy box. However, neither my husband nor I could find the volume control anywhere on this thing. The only switch on it is to choose the mode the toy is in. We even looked in the battery compartment and hoped there was a volume control, but no. So it looks like the folks at vtech are falsely advertising. I really hope I'm wrong. I don't like spending money on manufacturers' products when they lie and cheat. I hope someone will prove me wrong and tell me where to find the volume control.
