Review on πŸ§₯ LJYH Toddler Classic Peacoat with Hood – Boys' Jackets & Coats by Mike Hicks

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Light jacket. Normal quality but with a very cute style.

This is a great lightweight, breathable 100% cotton jacket with a very cute blue and white striped lining. The lining of the jacket runs the length of the sleeve so you can roll up the sleeve for stripes at the ends if you like. Turtle shell style buttons. The hood is detachable with clear buttons that are hidden by the collar when not in use. I feel like we just keep the hood up all the time. Not entirely sure of the scenario where you wouldn't want it - formal photos maybe. I think it's a bit overpriced for the weight and quality - but overall it's still a good deal for an affordable good looking jacket. It is very cute for family photos or school photo day. Made in China. The sizes on it aren't listed in US sizes, so I don't know what size I even ordered. Mine says "130" and fits my tall 5 year old (K grade) just fine. My only concern is that teachers usually want kids to be able to zip and open their own jackets, especially those with Karona. Virus and social distancing - I'm concerned my 5 year old won't be fast enough to button and unbutton easily enough to get dressed and undressed at school/recess. warm. There are a few loose threads and sewing issues, but these are easily fixed with some scissors. In general, the quality is normal. In general I recommend.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • I liked the quality of the fabric. The buttonholes are too small.
