Quality control issues and the item CANNOT be returned.
Unfortunately the comb I received had uneven teeth. Some of them are a little shorter than others and at first I thought they might chip a bit but on closer inspection it seems to be a pouring issue but I'm not 100% sure. Even more unfortunate, these shorter teeth are sharper and will scratch the scalp, rendering everything useless. Without this imperfection I would have liked this comb and from what I can glean from other reviews shape issues seem to be a common problem with this comb. I tried to return this item as soon as I tried it but Amazon says this item cannot be returned. Don't take any chances with this product and just try another brand.
