I made the switch from iPhone (for many years I was an Apple fanatic, but beginning with the 5th generation I became dissatisfied, I especially didn't like the 6th, primarily because of the battery and flexible case, so I waited for 7, and in the meantime 6s was released, which was less flexible but had the same weak battery and high price). After growing impatient waiting for something noteworthy from Apple, the customer eventually made the decision to look into other organizations. I considered my options well and spent a lot of time weighing the benefits and drawbacks of each available smartphone. I didn't even bother considering Windows because I don't like the user interface, there aren't many applications, and the same goes for phones. As a direct consequence of this, I decided to go with an Android smartphone. The Xiaomi MI5 was appealing to me because of its features and affordability, but by 2022, the price had risen to an unreasonable level, and the product was not yet being offered for sale in an official capacity. Even though I enjoyed the Galaxy S6, I couldn't get over the fact that it didn't have a memory card slot or a strong battery. After taking a peek at the Samsung Galaxy S7 when it first came out, I knew right away that it was the ideal smartphone for my needs. After around two months of use, I can say that I continue to be satisfied with the purchase. In a separate note, I would like to comment on the camera, which is, in my opinion, superior to those of other brands (this is important for me - because I photograph small children and take a lot of them and I want the photos to be of high quality). Only the battery didn't disappoint very much; it holds a charge well when I watch movies and listen to music; however, as soon as I start checking my email, sitting in the browser, and even more so in Facebook, it starts to discharge quickly enough; consequently, I have to charge it overnight and during the day at work a little so that it will definitely last until the evening (although in energy saving mode it works stably for me from 7 am to 1 am with fairly active use). Yet in the end, I have no reservations in recommending the phone, and I rate it a perfect five stars. This is not the best smartphone on the market currently, in my opinion. When compared to the iPhone and ios, the interface of android 6 is, in many ways, similar to ios, and the transition to it is quite easy. On the other hand, android gives more freedom of action, in particular, I forgot about such a horror as itunes, and I am glad for such bonuses as the simple recording of files from a smartphone and on it, as well as the possibility of downloading torrents.
