Review on 💾 Seagate ST4000DM000 4TB Desktop HDD (Renewed) – Reliable SATA 6Gb/s 3.5-Inch Storage Solution by Brant Watson

Bought back in September. Up until the last few days, it worked as you would expect from a new hard drive. All of a sudden it started making clicking noises and I got major crashes due to programs running on the drive and the drive is totally inaccessible this morning and HD Tune Pro reads very few sectors it can access than bad. The hard drive, nor the tower in which it is installed, has been moved since installation. So it is unlikely that the damage is caused by some external factors. Luckily the drive was only used for programs and nothing was lost that couldn't be recovered. However, after this experience I will most likely never buy refurbished products again.
