for security reasons I was looking for a shoulder bag, not a backpack. This bag worked well. I tend to carry too much and this bag had room for everything and more. It can get heavy and I'm 5ft 2in tall. She was almost too big. I wouldn't use it as an everyday bag but definitely for travel.
