Review on 💡 Cabin Bright FLED/R18-192 LED Tube Replacement for 12V Fluorescent (15-18 inches) by Jon Ford

Fantastic light. I was skeptical that they could produce the same amount of light as our old fluorescent bulbs. After the initial installation I can honestly say they are as good if not BETTER than our previous lights. And they use less energy! We only bought ONE kit which included 8 pads and this single light source can adequately illuminate our entire RV! directly under the fixture), but the key is to fully complete the installation. After I installed it and installed the protective cover, the light output was MUCH better and projected to the sides instead of directly under the light. In addition, the instructions did not describe what to do if the lamp itself has a switch. I think most lights use a wall switch but mine had one built into the end cap. Although it was very easy. There should be a red wire that connects to the ceiling wire and goes to the switch. The switch then has another red wire going to the circuit board/ballast. Simply cut the wire from the switch to the board in half and then connect the red wire from the LEDs to the 2 inch cut wire coming out of the switch. Super easy to do. And the support from Cabin Bright has been exceptional! In my opinion there is no need to go back to using a regular lightbulb. All manufacturers should offer them as standard equipment.
