I am 5'9" and between US size 12-14 with wide shoulders. I purchased a Large and the dress fits perfectly across shoulders and bust. It is important to know that this style of dress is designed to fit snugly at the bust and then is full from there on down. At my height the dress falls to the bottom of my calves.I purchased the "Multicolor#blue" print. It's a decent copy of an all cotton, hand block printed Indian dress I own that was much more expensive. This ebay dress is 65% rayon, 35% cotton according to the label. I wouldn't be surprised if it is actually 100% rayon because it feels and drapes like an Old Navy dress I own with that composition. The material is soft and drape could be improved with a slip, but not necessary. The dress is not see through.This dress has a cute boho style and I plan to west mine with ankle boots and tights this fall. I think a wide leather belt or floppy hat or cowboy hat would work well to style the dress too. For me the tassle ties work fine to close the neckline without gaps. The ties add flair. I believe I read somewhere that you can wrap tassles in tinfoil before washing so they don't shred or get tangled.The dress arrived pretty wrinkled and in my experience, rayon must be handwashed in cold water and hung dry to avoid shrinking and wrinkling. So a bit of a high maintenance garment.Overall I'm happy with my purchase, but in future will probably invest in an all-cotton dress from India.
