I guess for $36 you can't expect much but if you read the description "Excellent protection against rain, ice and snow". Durable in extreme weather conditions. Thermal protection, "scratch resistance" you would expect a lifespan of at least 4 months. It's no longer waterproof and I wouldn't say it's "durable in extreme weather". "Dustproof" might be it, but by itself it's hard to say as every time i take it off blue dust flies off the lid as you can see in the picture just awful and i would avoid them at all costs.
