Summary: While I would recommend this shoe for everyday use at the pool, I would not recommend it for a day at the beach. The shoes are too thin for that. I'm still glad I bought them. This is a great deal for the price (about $10 when I bought it). It's actually more comfortable than the $25 pair I later bought! However, after half a dozen shoes in the pool, part of the tread was worn away. Also, the shoes are thin and offer little to no support. This means you can feel every rock under your feet, and it doesn't help ensure traction or balance.
