If like me you like cutting zip ties and tags before installing things, don't do it with this gate! I mean you could, but the instructions say it's easier to install if you cut the LAST's zip tie. But it wasn't difficult to install. Clear "wheels" on the bottom spin to push the gate against the walls. But I had to alternate between the gate door and the "wheels" to make sure the door isn't too tight to open and close when tightened. This is probably why you shouldn't cut the zip tie first. What I love about this gate is that the door opens both ways, locks and latches the door and keeps my 10 month old from falling down the stairs (thank goodness)! These gates are sent from God! i love everything about it Also forgetting and leaving open the fact that the gate handle has to be moved up and down at the same time so that curious kids like my 5 year old can't open it which can be a safety hazard. . Get those goals! You will not be disappointed!
