Love that this unit was a direct replacement for one of my license plate light assemblies. There was a gasket on the factory lamp housing which I carefully removed but found too thick on the camera/lamp housing to snap into place. Without a seal, the knot was very tight. I had to open the case and reroute the wires to the LED as they were routed in a way that the case could NOT be snapped into place. Why this error is remains a mystery, since there is enough space for them on the central opening. I hooked up the unit from a nearby backup light and license plate light to the existing wires that powered the factory lights. I wish there was a factory connector as I suspect Honda used the same connector on all license plate assemblies. The wiring was something like PITA, but it should take several hours. Plenty of cable was provided, but I took the shortest route, which ended up with maybe 18 inches of extra wire for coiling. This device is connected to an XTRONS PST10ACH_L Android 10 headset. This head unit has TWO return wires, one to switch to the rear camera and the other to turn down the headset volume.
