This 15ft cable is perfect for connecting behind my rearview mirror, straight up and then through the top of mine Windshield and down the side, under the floor mats and to my USB port on the center console of my SUV. Straight out of the box, still rolled up, I tested it to make sure it worked. it was. Then I installed it. The cord is a little thinner than some cords, so it's a lot easier to slip it through the insulation around the window and swish. Make sure you select "Left" 90 degrees or "Right" 90 degrees for the direction of the Mini-B port, depending on the Mini-B port of your dash cam. I recommend 1 inch black electrical tape in key areas and the AUKEY dual port car charger.
