Review on Kungfuren Car OBD2 Scanner: Check Engine Fault Analyzer for OBD2 Protocol Cars Since 1996 by Ron Coleman

This device has cost me my time and a lot of trouble. I bought it to pre-check cars before a smog check. It read the VIN so I assumed it was working. It consistently provided incorrect code history information (a requirement for the CA-Smog review). I had no way of knowing it was a tester and not a car until I finally took the car to the shop to compare it to their professional OBDll. Equipment saying the car had code history and was fine. I checked other vehicles that were fine and got the same erroneous result. Of course, by then it was too late to bring him back. Worse than wasting money. Huge waste of my time.
