Very happy with this purchase! I'm in the process of cutting costs/saving money and recently unplugged my cable to just use internet service and some streaming options (and saved over $100/month in the process!). Part of that was getting rid of the $11 monthly modem rental. It was very easy to set up, but there are a few things you need to know: 1 - You need to activate your modem/router before you can set up your network information (the instructions say it's the other way around) 2 - I had a problem because moreover, I could not get the network to appear in my list of available networks even after Comcast set up the modem. Turns out the Wi-Fi button on the side of the modem was disabled, so the network wasn't broadcasting even though it was active. Hold the button for 3-4 seconds and suddenly everything works fine. I wish they would mention this in the owner's manual and I could save 10 minutes on the phone with Comcast. Otherwise a great product that I can only recommend!
