This jacket is well made and water repellent. It has a light fleece inside but nothing too hot to wear on warm days. The material seems durable enough to withstand washing and drying. If not, I will update this review. I bought the small size for my 7.5 lb Yorkie and it fits perfectly. Her measurements are: Neck: 10 inches, Chest: 15 inches, Length from base of neck to base of tail: 13 inches (I measured them exactly as shown in the measurement chart). I love that her jackets touch the base of her tail so she is fully protected. When the jacket is put on, the Velcro is set as little as possible. The hole for her leash is at her neck. I have to cut another one to fit her straps. This is an easy fix even for the non-closer. I highly recommend this jacket.
