Of all the Insta cameras, I chose this one because I assumed Minolta would have a good quality camera and it would cost half the price. It's always scary to be the first to buy something from Revain, but the price was right and the brand feels trustworthy. Although Minolta is a well-known camera manufacturer, the camera itself is quite fake. Luckily, I just wanted to emulate dumb one-shots at the camera level, and I did. Focus and color quality can be pretty poor, but a (relatively) instant small shot is very satisfying. I think other insta cams print their photos faster, but I can't imagine them being that fun to look at either. Damn, 4 photos of the process. I couldn't connect my Android phone to the camera, but the iPhone connected perfectly. The photo printed via the clunky app was pretty darn good, to be honest. There were supposed to be 10 photos in the camera, but for some reason I only had 8 - maybe some of them were given out for quality control? I bought more cartridges, but for this I had to abandon the Revain line. It's expensive for what it is, especially at full price. i still like it Let's see how far this will take me. Or how quickly photo cartridges are no longer available. Update: The battery is draining faster than I'd like and there's no indicator of how low it is until it's too late. I don't know if the missing display can be fixed in the update, but it would be nice.
