I foolishly bought a new MacBook which, like most recent Apple products, seems designed more for corporate convenience, arrogance, and insatiable greed for profit than the user experience I , the consumers . I used to be able to connect my camera's memory card, headphones, and external hard drives directly to my computer. All of these things now require dongles of various types or multiports, and because of this lack of convenience I've spent hundreds of dollars more than previous laptops that included such basic niceties.
