A little expensive for what they are, but nice

It's a bit odd, but nice. I wasn't sure why they were smaller than other pivoting wall lights and figured it was because they weren't really designed to be constantly moving. Adjustment screws must be used every time. But good that you can adjust the angle. The first one I bought was shorted because I thought the adjustment screw was missing and it's actually stuck in the tube. I took a chance and ordered a set of 2 and they were packaged with the set screw in place. One of the two is easier to combine than the other. I bought this to use as a dressing table in my teenage daughter's bedroom. They are really cute compared to traditional ball lights. The socket is brass in a different color and looks cheaper than the rest of the lamp. They work well for my purpose, although they were overpriced for what they are. It's an improvement over the table lamp clip and cheaper than pop-up lamps, but it still doesn't justify its cost compared to a true wall light. I wouldn't use them in my living room unless they were somewhere where you couldn't see them up close and as a focal point through an electrical outlet. It's less noticeable when the light is actually on. I was wondering if the style would look weird with fluorescent lighting, but it's a nice contrast. I just wish I could find daylight bulbs with the specs I want because I think they would look even better. I could use more of these lamps and would buy more if they were a little cheaper. They really are just a few steps above a cheap table lamp. All we need is a better socket d Rajiv
