I was skeptical although my wife told me she uses one of these at work and it was amazing. I didn't like it at first because I thought it would end up scratching our countertop from holding it and turning the glass against the counter. And one day it dawned on me. I set the jar on the counter, lit the can opener and watched it go around the top of the jar without touching it. Doh! This is an amazing product! (No instructions came with it, so I don't feel so bad) Please don't tell my wife about my problems when using it.
