We love this meal very much. So glad I found it

My 2 year old cat started randomly urinating on my clothes about 6 months ago. At the time I didn't understand what was happening. I provided him with a drinking fountain and changed the sheets. The writing continued here and there for several months. There are no other symptoms or changes. I woke up one morning because he was behaving very unusually and after a few hours he was hiding, vomiting and obviously in pain. We took him to the emergency room to find out he had a complete urinary tract obstruction. It would have killed my little fella if we hadn't acted quickly. She recommended some very expensive prescription diets for cats with urinary incontinence. Every time he ate, he vomited. He became thin, not so active anymore. Sometimes he pees in the house again. It was sad and I felt defeated. I decided to slowly feed him with a lick mat and try the Purina Urinary Tract line. After a lot of research I also bought a digestive enzyme to add to my food. (I should add that he is ONLY fed wet food at the moment. The moisture content is much higher on wet food and he needs a lot of water to flush his bladder..) In a bowl, mix his pate, digestive enzymes and ADD about a tablespoon of water. Mix and spread over the slow feed. He has no problem with any of these methods. I kinda have to go back and help scrape some food out of the slow feeder but he's doing fine on his own. MAGIC. I don't know which part of this new mode works. Or when it's all the steps I do together but everything is NORMAL again. He's slowly gaining weight. He hasn't thrown up in a long time. He is much more active and playful. And never pee in the house again! It's amazing how much he loves me, the affection has grown so much. He seems to say thank you. It's such a great relief.
