LEDs are easy to use, just plug them into the car USB port, car charger, computer USB port, TV or any USB port. I have two in the car, one on the TV and one as a night light that plugs into my phone charger. They are too bright for most of the uses I need them for. I used a thin strip of black tape to cover about 60% of the plastic LED cover to reduce the amount of light. The purple paint on the car dashboard is sealed with tape. Green behind the TV is not tapped. Love the extra color behind the TV, I plugged the light into an extra USB port, you can pop a few into the other ports. Overall I think it was good value for a multi pack, green, blue, purple, red, white and yellow were pretty good.
