I bought this unit to use with security cameras. I still have a Dell computer monitor that I wanted to use with the cameras. The input on the monitor is VGA, so I needed RCA VGA inputs. This box is perfect for that. I have a very good picture on the monitor. The only negative - I have no sound on the monitor. After reading other reviews I found out that VGA does not carry audio from RCA. The monitor only has a VGA input, so I can't connect an additional audio cable to it. In general I am satisfied with this product. I didn't have any connection problems. I will be buying a few more as I found a few more monitors for $10 each. Hey, I'll do it cheap!
